BMW X3 Rear Axle Bolt Failure Investigation

The Heber Law Firm LLC is investigating a potential class action lawsuit involving alleged instances of rear axle bolt failure in BMW X3 models. Specifically, several individuals have reported breakage of a bolt in the rear axles of their vehicles.

Examples of reports of rear axle bolt failure include the following:

• The owner of a 2022 BMW X3 stated they heard a loud, popping sound coming from the vehicle and later discovered that the upper rear differential mounting bolt head had sheared off.  The vehicle reportedly only had 36,000 miles.

• An owner of a 2022 BMW X3 reported they heard a loud bang and learned from a dealership that a rear right axle and differential retaining bolt broke.

• An owner of a 2020 BMW X3 reported they heard a clunking noise coming from the rear of the car and discovered the rear differential bolt had broken, which made the car inoperable.
