Ford Exploding Sunroofs Investigation

The Heber Law Firm LLC is investigating a potential class action lawsuit concerning allegations that certain Ford and Lincoln vehicles have sunroofs that may spontaneously shatter or explode.

Some reports of this alleged issue occurring include the following:

  • A driver of a 2023 Ford F-150 reported they were driving on the highway at 70 mph and the sunroof on the vehicle shattered without anything impacting it.  They stated the sound of the explosion caused them to brake suddenly, which was dangerous.
  • A driver of a 2023 Ford F-150 reported their panoramic sunroof panel exploded while driving the vehicle and caused a “very loud explosion noise.” They stated nothing came in contact with the vehicle that could have caused the sunroof to shatter.
  • A driver of a 2022 Ford Edge reported they were driving on the highway and their sunroof spontaneously shattered without any obvious sign of impact.
  • An owner of a 2023 Ford Explorer reported she heard an abnormal noise and realized her sunroof had shattered independently.
